1. There's one thing I don't like about current shuffling method: it doesn't prevent the same track/album from playing twice in a row. That happens when a new cycle happens to start with the last played track/album of the previous cycle. This repetition occurs more often when the whole playing tracks list contains only a few track/albums. You often have to listen to the same whole album again when shuffled by album. I'd suggest a new cycle never start with the last item of the previous cycle. This would be just as random as the current method, but people would likely feel more random simply due to the lack of repetitions.

2. How about adding one more shuffle mode, shuffle by one track across each album? So a cycle starts with a track in Adele's "19" album, then one in "25", and ends with one in "21". The next cycle starts with any track either in "19" or "25" (if #1 wish is implemented), and so on. With this method, a repetition is possible meaning you could hear "Rolling in the Deep" twice in two consecutive cycles. Alternatively, it could be implemented a big cycle ends after all tracks in the list have played once across album to avoid repetition.

3. Currently shuffle settings are sort of hidden as context menu of player control and not easily discoverable by new users. Why not add the whole shuffle settings to Controls main menu and preferences panel? Also shuffle by album with tracks shuffled can be only set by Now Playing preferences setting. Make it available in shuffle settings as well.

Then the new settings would look like this:
