Forgive me; I haven't been following the development of 3.0 much. Most of what I've read concerns changes to the GUI and how it may be customized, but are there any major changes to core functionality, particularly anything that might improve sound quality even further?

I suppose you could say the biggest changes are on the surface (as in user friendliness), but 3.0 is receiving a bunch of new features and bug fixes that you'd miss out on with previous versions. As to improving sound quality, there has been an update addressing the audio buffer - now you can fine tune the buffer size with a slider.

I'd like to see a table of features and values comparing 3 to the final release of 2.
