To help test boroda74's plugin, this skin is currently only available for download from Add-on Manager
Looks very nice.
Is there any way to get this skin without using the Add-on Manager?  For the time being, there are a number of reasons I don't want to use the Add-on Manager, not the least of which is the need for Google Drive.  Personally, I'm wanting to have less and less to do with Google.

Thanks.

@phred, you don't need to use or have google account to *download* customizations.

Not to hijack this tread, but...
Thanks for the feedback boroda74.  What about the ability to put the 20+ files from the Add-on Manager's zip into a subfolder of Plugins?  That's another deal breaker for me.

Ummmm... take it as a compliment or take me as a saddo: I registered for the sake of this single skin! :-\

Any hints at when it'll be free from the shackles of an add-on? I did my part in "testing" the plugin, 45 minutes spent & i didn't even manage to activate the exe. file!

As anxious as I am, I could handle the nerve-racking wait better than further footering around with fragile files... well, so long as I believe the wait will pay...

So... any hints?

LOL!

With a compliment like that, what else could I possibly say but...

Direct download link now available in first post.   :)

Beautiful!  ;D

These kinda blues are my favorites, yet I often forget they even exist as no one uses them... anywhere! Deep & Baby blues were getting awfully tiresome.

Anyways, cheers! Finally a blue background that won't blend with umpteen album covers.

Hi Mr. Bee-liever

How did you get your headings in that manner? 2 Cellos - Discover, then Released on ...?

I use virtual tags for my LH and RH grouping header:

LH is:
Code: "Header (variable)"
$If($And(<Disc#>>1,<Album Complete?>="Y"),$If($Or($Contains(<Genre Groups>,Classical),<Album Artist>="Various Artists"),<Album>,<Album Artist>" · "<Album>),$If($Contains(<Path>,Classical),$If($First(<Grouping>)="Album [Compilation]",<Album>,<Sort - Composer>$IsNull(<Grouping>,,$IsNull(<Conductor [surname]>,," ["<Conductor [surname]>]))" ¦ "<Album>),$If(<Album Artist>="Various Artists",$If($Left($First(<Grouping>),5)!="Album",$Split(<Album>,·,1)" ["$Split($First(<Grouping>),[,2),<Album>),$If($Contains(<Album Artist>,;)="T",$IsNull(<Artist - Display>,$Replace(<Album Artist>,;," &"),<Artist - Display>),<Album Artist>)" · "$If($Or($Left($First(<Grouping>),5)!="Album",$Right($First(<Grouping>),8)="Box Set]"),$Split(<Album>,·,1)" ["$Split($First(<Grouping>),[,2),<Album>))))
This references other custom and virtual tags to give a header that displays:
  • 'album artist · album' if a standard album
  • 'album artist · album [type]' if a single, EP, Boxed Set or other non-standard album
  • 'album' only if a Various Artists compilation
  • 'composer [conductor] - album' if a classical music album with a single composer

You could do something similar (and simpler :)  ) with just:
Code: "Header (variable)"
<Album Artist> · <Album>

For the RH:
Code: "Release Info"
<Release Date> on $First(<Publisher>)
This references other custom and virtual tags to give a header that displays either:
  • year
  • month year
  • day month year
depending on how much of the full release date is known.

You could do something similar with just:
Code: "Release Info"
Released: <YYYY> on $First(<Publisher>)

Thank you very much. I am going to give that a shot.

Mr. Bee-liever, thank you for the assist. I gave the code a shot and it works very well. Opens up a lot of possibilities.

Cheers.
