MTP Player with Multiple Storage Devices

I have a COWON J3 with a Micro SD plugged in for additional storage. I'd like to use MTP mode for play count and rating sync.

When using in MTP mode, in windows explorer it shows up as a device COWON J3, clicking on which then gives you access to "External Storage" or "Internal Storage".

In Musicbee, when synchronising, I have the option to choose from the two storage paths for the device. What this means is that I can only synchronise to one of the storage options.

Does anybody know how I can synchronise to both?
