Hello,

As the heading say MusicBee won`t start after I installed the Eventghost Plugin.
It loads up to the half and then pops up a Windows Error Message. Picture ( http://imgur.com/UesOPRM )
When I remove the "mb_EgPlugin.dll" file again, MusicBee starts normal as usual .

I started with Administrator right and I reinstalled MusicBee but did not help.
Unfortunately there are no loggins of error.

I tried several mediaplayers and MusiBee is my personal favorite but I also need a EG-Plugin.
Anyone with the same issuses or solutions?

My System:
Win 8.1
i5,8GB Ram

I would suggest moving, or reposting this issue on the plugin's topic under the Customizations section to be sure the plugin creator sees it.

Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

The new version of EventGhost plugin requires MusicBee 2.5 (beta version at the moment).
Maybe that's the problem? Which version MusicBee you have?

Hello,

I use the v.2.4.5404. I will try the 2.5
Anyway, thanks a lot for making this plugin.

Kind regards

Eventghost starts now but when I try to activate the Plugin, EG crashes again. Is there a possibility to get an older version of the EG-Plugin? I would give it a try.

Yes, versions 13 and 14 can be downloaded here.
But I'd rather find out what was happening.
What version EventGhost you use?
How exactly EventGhost is crashing?
Is there any error message?
You can try to run a EventGhost with -debug command-line option.
Then it should be available some error log.

Sorry, I wrote "Eventghost" in my last comment but I mean MusicBee:

"MusicBee starts now but when I try to activate the Plugin, MusicBee crashes again. Is there a possibility to get an older version of the EG-Plugin? I would give it a try."

with EG-Plugin v.14 - all is working fine
with EG-Plugin v.15 - MusicBee crashes at the start or when I activate the plugin (no error logging), Eventghost works fine

Thank you for the link

I'm not sure if I understand it correctly.
MusicBee includes error logging.
Access to the log file is: Help -> Support -> View Error Log.
There is no entry, when it happens?

Yes you understood it correctly, unfortunately there is no error loggins available when click on "view error log".
