Can one assign second hotkey? So e.g. one none global and one global for the same action?

The way I understand it is each Hotkey/Keyboard shortcut, say for instance Play, only has one slot avail for a keyboard assignment and that can be set as global or not global.

Yes, that is my understanding either, unfortunately. Thank you, bustarhyme.

Only for commands with dedicated multimedia keys as described here:

Curious - why would you need a non-global hotkey as well as a global one?
Bee excellent to each other...

Thank you Zak,

That's a pity.

Well, there are some reasons, e.g. when you use different players, media center(s), foobar, Aimp (both of the last ones have that option), I can use the same shortcuts for each one when on top. And to access them globally I use a special different shortcut (for the same action).

And thank you for the link.
