HELP! where ever i click on a playlist starts playing first track

where ever i click on a playlist all tracks above are highlighted and starts playing first track. i am djing tomorrow night, can anyone help? thanks,

Edit > Preferences > Now Playing > Playback
Make sure "playback follows cursor" is unchecked.

As an aside - it's really amazing how many times this comes up.
