Also, when drag&dropping files from the windows exporer to musicbee inbox, the artwork column is not accepted as dropping area, it need to be a text column (like artist or album). Can it be changed?

I would like to sort the songs by language and have made a custom column for this(Sprache = language).
Now i select the the songs without language attribute--> EDIT-->TAG (2) LANGUAGE-English-->SAVE;  and this does not work!

Steven is not adding any new features at this point.  What he's doing (and what he's done) is redesign the user interface.  Requested new features will come later.  I suggest putting your request in the Wishlist sub-forum.

A real pity, i hoped for a way to sync library between computers. I think that it should be really easy with cloud storage like mega!

Where is MB supposed to get the language from?  Have you created a Custom Tag for language?

so you are in the tag editor and click save, and you are saying that the custom tag that you edited is not saved.
How did you confirm the new tag value is not saved?
eg. if you open the tag inspector can you see the tag values you entered (I am assuming you have configured the custom tag to save to the music file and not to the musicbee database only)

i am still not following what you are doing. Can you describe using a bullet point for each step you do so that i can repeat exactly the same actions that you are doing. Assume i already have the custom tag configured.

ok thanks, i can now reproduce this when the tag editor is docked in the main panel after the 2nd edit

STEPS:

I get a crossed lines blank square and the error message (using default MusicBee 3 skin). If I use the MusicBee Classic skin, for example, the error doesn't happen.

When making changes that affect tag values, for example album rating and virtual album score, it won't automatically refresh the visual values in the artwork view (maybe also other views).

i cannot reproduce this. Are you displaying "Album Rating" and set it to auto-calculate? For my test i did that and changed a track rating in the main panel and from the player, both of which updated the album rating.
How did you can the rating in your case?
