Tags(1) > artwork storage

Under Set retrieval filter, there is a duplicate entry for Folder.jpg. It came into existence after selecting the first entry. When I select both the normal and the duplicate entry and save, it doesn't keep this setting, only one entry turns out to be selected after reopening the retrieval filter. The dupe does not show in the Album cover search rules window either.

However using the auto-tag feature, MB still isn't saving the artwork as embedded (I do have that selected as default in my prefs). It'll keep the folder.jpg/linked artwork, but if I want to have the artwork embedded I have to use the manual edit.
which specific auto-tag function?

Auto-tag by album. I typically use this on albums sitting in my inbox before I move them to the library.

unzip into the musicbee application folder and run MusicBee3.exe

- fixes for the above and also some bugs i found in the now playing panel

i found 3 bugs in the now playing panel, wen activate the playlist option

- the wavebar not refresh when changing track. the updated only when changing tab.
- in sidebar player, you can not adjust the volume.
- in sidebar player, the progress bar has no function

these three bugs are only in the now playing panel. In the other Tabs wavebar and sidebar player works fine.

Just an odd  little thing, the [tab] key behaves rather erratic when pressed to jump through the input fields in the Set Toolbar Buttons window.

you probably have the organised artwork template set to folder.jpg (on the left side of the Tags(1) preferences)

No, in fact it's set to Copy to the same folder as the music file and name as Cover.jpg

if you are refering to the right sidebar of the Playlist configuration for the now playing panel then thats fixed for the next update

Tools, Tagging Tools, Search & Replace   no Replace

Another thing, unfortunately this doesn't happen all the time so I can't fully/consistently replicate it. Occasionally I will split the screen to have a web browser on one side and MusicBee on the other which is how I first noticed this.

With 4 tabs open, while on any tab, if I hit the restore/maximize button (you know, in the top right corner) to reduce the window size and then hit the button again to restore to max screen, it will stay on the same tab.
With 5 tabs open and doing this, a new empty tab will open sometimes at the end and MusicBee will switch to this empty tab.
With 6 tabs open and from one of the 5 previous tabs, MusicBee will sometimes switch to the 6th tab.
With 7 tabs and on any tab other than the 6th, it will sometimes switch to the 6th.

I think that may be an error with the skin you're using.  I just tried the default MB3 skin along with another one and I get this:

Download the latest MusicBee v3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

Weird.  It's not showing up in any skin I choose.

Edit: shows up in windows theme not:

aurora 1.0
coherentdark3.0
darkred10test
musicbee classic
musicbee 3
vanilla3.0
aerobee
coolblue

Edit 2: or yours

Edit 3: Narrow scroll bar issue, turning it off brought it back.
