I've just noticed that podcasts are being scrobbled even though the check-box is set to don't scrobble podcasts.  I'm guessing this is because plugins aren't fully operational yet?
Also on the same plugins page, if you enable theatre mode the buttons appear to be cut off (showing only the top few pixels of each) and I can't scroll down further. If you click to turn it off, you can scroll further.

Edit:
Closing and reopening preferences after enabling theater mode restores scrolling.

http://www.mediafire.com/download/yg2iu46j3binune/MusicBeeDemo.zip

unzip into the musicbee application folder and run MusicBee3.exe

- fixes for  non-aero windows themes (Windows Basic and Classic)
- support for double click on column header resizing to max text width (when fit to panel is not enabled)
- tabs and command buttons can no longer be docked in the windows caption bar for unskinned window borders
Just conforming that the fixes for the windows themes is working. Thank you for getting that done so quickly. :)

this has the fix for the remaining scrolling panel image corruption. If anyone else is still finding that scroll actions corrupt the panel display then please let me know

Yup, fixed confirmed. Thanks.

Another bug i found when changing between mini player, compact player applied.

Before changing to mini player(or compact player)

After i switched to mini player the buttons disappear and only comes back when restarted:

Interested to try this out, but having downloaded the demo and unzipped it into my Musicbee folder and tried to open MusicBee3.exe, nothing happens. And when I try to delete the exe I'm told that I cannot because "the file is open in system". Had to reboot to get rid of it. Did a search but found nothing on the forum. Anybody have any ideas? Running 64 bit Windows 10.

there is a bug in terms of layout handling when first loading your old settings. If you redownload the same link and run that version that bug is fixed. However MB should still have displayed so I dont know what happened. Before you try again make sure MusicBee3.exe is not displayed in the task manager Processes tab and if it is then terminate it.
If the same still happens then check if MusicBee3.exe is in the task manager again

I have spent some time trying v3 on XP.
There are some problems that would take time to figure out and resolve. So MB3 officially does not support XP

* Create a new, empty playlist
* Add an album twice to the playlist
* Open up the album in the playlist so you have a view similar to this one: http://i.imgur.com/49tqqPs.png

* Mark one of the songs and either hit Del or right-click and select Remove to delete it
* This is what it looks like here: http://i.imgur.com/D4SiYdE.png
* If refresh the playlist, both song-entries are deleted

This is using 3.0.5829

i would expect the same behavior with v2.5
When using album and tracks layout, the ordinal position of a track cannot be guaranteed to reflect the oridinal position in the playlist, and hence MB instead uses the filename as the matching criteria.
You should do file operations using the Track Details layout if you are dealing with duplicates

i cant reproduce. Can you post a screenshot. Also what is your screen DPI setting? (eg. 96 DPI)

Same problem persisting.
MB3 opened once (looked good!), but when I shut it down it wouldn't open again. Will not even open after a reboot.
Strange thing is that there is no instance of MB3 in Task Manager when I try to open it, even though when I try and delete the exe I'm told that it's open in System. Cursor just spins and windows explorer hangs.
Let me know if you need any more details.

will you run a debug version? it will take a few attempts to narrow down where the issue is
Also when you checked the task manager, did you check in the Processes tab? (and not the Applications tab)

Happy to run a debug version.

Yes, checked in Processes tab.

in that case it sounds to me like something your online security software might be doing. Can you make sure MB3 is in the exceptions list for whatever software you are using?
