I just noticed two things:

Columns do not automatically re-size to fit the longest text displayed in the main panel when double clicking in the divider as it behaves in 2.5.

When re-sizing the artwork, if you minimise it too much it makes all the columns disappear.

PS. Love how much faster MB is!

Is there an opportunity to make the Locate in Playlist function run smoother? That would be really useful if possible.

for the first thats never been supported by MB. You can right click/ Auto-Size all columns but that doesnt guarantee a column will show all text
for the 2nd, are you refering to Album and Tracks layout. There is a minimum size for the picture so i dont see how what you say is possible. Could you post a before and after screenshot?

A possible bug - with 'show album contents when double clicking an album' enabled, pressing the back button doesn't navigate to your previous position in the main panel, but rather jumps to the very top of the library contents.
thats addressed for the next update

unzip into the musicbee application folder and run MusicBee3.exe

- fixes the small scroll increment (slow scrolling) in the artwork layout when clicking the top or bottom scroll button (if the scrollbar has such buttons)
- possibly also works for trackpads

The auto-size is a great feature.

Any chance this could also be implemented for the column browser also?
[yyyy] fields could than perhaps also get an efficient width?

1. Apologies, I think I did not explain it properly. What I mean is that in 2.5, when I double click on a divider in a column, for example the title one, the column widens up automatically to the largest text displayed in that column. In 3.0 nothing happens. This is a really handy feature to quickly adjust columns to display all the text even though it needs to be done one by one.

2. See the screenshots before and after re-sizing the artwork

as i said, there is no such function in v2.5 that i know of (if you are somehow managing to get it to do that then its by a mechanism i am not aware of)
edit:
actually i see windows is doing that when "fit to panel" is not enabled. I will have a look at creating the equivalent functionality

-----------
for the next update i am planning to remove support for docking tabs and the search box/ buttons in the header bar for unskinned window borders ie. MB will force skinned borders when tabs are docked in the header bar.
The main reason is because in windows 10, MB cant determine the caption bar colour (amazing but true) without using the new Universal Windows API which is a very substantial change. Additionally the search box text colour has never worked very clearly when docked in the unskinned caption bar

Just a thought... I would love it if we could put the Library Explorer in the "left main panel", like the column/thumbnail browsers

Added: When syncing playlists to their own folder, MB refuses to sync if you don't have a "Music" folder present, even though nothing is going to be placed in that folder.

some things such as using sidebar auto-popup to navigate are premised on having the navigator in the left sidebar. Why not move the column/thumbnail browser to the left sidebar?

In the latest update that was just posted when I use the minimize to tray function and I restore the window, the windows resizes to a smaller size.

Edit: I've noticed it only seems to happen when I'm using a non-aero theme on Windows 7.

what does that mean? are you refering to the unskinned window borders setting?
and what steps do you take to restore the window

Sorry, I'm using themed borders and it happens when I use the Windows 7 Basic or Windows Classic themes. And to restore the window I click on the icon in the system tray.
