also a bug, in the now playing panel tab even if i choose the hide the right sidebar it does not work, though it works properly for the left sidebar.

thats a bit strange. It works fine for me. Perhaps you had the playing tracks list docked in the right main panel?

yeah i do had that pinned. The panel Configuration duologue clearly states that Override for current MusicBee tab, so i assume every tab panel can be configured separately(since it works in visualizer tab)

would you mind sending me a link to your settings file (help/ support/ view settings) - make sure the bug is in effect when you start MB and get the settings file

thanks. I am guessing you were looking at the "Now Playing" panel (which has its own layout that doesnt follow the layout for other tabs)
The Panel Layout dialog applies to the other tabs. I will try to figure out something to prevent the confusion (maybe i will just disable the Panel Layout dialog button)

I have a suggestion about music explorer. The big white icon on the header doesn't look good that shows up when you select "more albums" and other grouping categories. How about keep showing the last used artist image until another artist is selected?

Sorting problem in Now Playing.
If I add a single album with play now, no shuffle, the album is sorted by album and track.  However, if I add two or more albums (still no shuffle), NP is sorted by track... all 01 tracks, then all 02 tracks etc.  It's fixed by choosing custom sorting in the pull down menu, but I have to do this each time I add albums to NP.

i cant reproduce this but i am probably not doing exactly what you are doing. Could you post a screenshot as that might help (with the two albums selected and so i can see the NP list)

In the dropdown box for sorting, no sorting is selected in NP (after albums are added).

In my Inbox tab, I have the view set to albums and tracks, with the option "display first few tracks" selected.
When I click on the artwork (or ctrl-a) to select the tracks to auto tag, it only selects (and tags) the displayed tracks (not the ones that need to be expanded to be displayed)
If I disable the "display first…" option then MB will select all the tracks

its working fine for me and i dont see how it could not be selecting all files. Can you reconfirm this

Just moved 12 files to my monitored folder. The inbox shows 8 files, with  "4 more files" expanded menu thing. If I click on the image, or ctrl-a it will only select the 8 displayed files. As soon as i click on the "4 more", the rest are automagically selected too. Seems on my install ,as long as there are files not being shown, they don't get selected.

you have your playing tracks panel sorted by the disc-track# column.
I think its a bug that MB persists any sorting for the playing tracks panel ie. it should always default to the natural order of the playlist so i will fix that.
In the interim just right click on the header bar/ Sort By/ Playlist Order
