I have seen several somewhat related posts to the usage of a NAS, however none of them really seems to address my problem. I have several computers all of them running Windows 8. I have a NAS device which attaches as a network drive (say O:) to all of the computers. What I want is that all MusicBee related data is on the NAS drive; in other words MuciBee does not access any local file. Ripping is done only on of the computers.

Appreciate any help

easiest way is install the portable version on the O: drive
However temporary files will still be written to your windows temporary files folder which will probably be set the local pc

keep in mind MB is not multi-user, so only one person at a time can be safely using/ updating the shared musicbee library
