I have just installed Musicbee, looks decent so far, a couple of bugs but getting there.

Quick question, is it possible to swap around the Now Playing window with the Track Window (the one with Artist, Title, Album, Year, Genre, Rating and Time)? I find I want the Now Playing window to being more central in the player, not stuck above album art work, and I don't need the Track window to be so detailed with multiple columns etc.

Cheers,

Bruce

You want the now playing tab (should be under playlists on the left hand side). You can't move the library into the right hand column however - that's just not what it's for. And out of interest, what bugs?

Ta.

At first it seemed dragging and dropping Explorer folders into MusicBee wasn't working, I think it was to do with first run issues, as when I rebooted PC and tried again the next time it worked :S

The other issue is Global Hotkeys arn't working right, I submitted Bug as per guidelines.

Essentially my PC Keyboard Media keys (play/pause etc) are not working if MusicBee is not the active window (and im working in some other window), but it works if MusicBee is the active window. And yes things are set Globally etc.
Tried two different Setpoints but no joy :(

You wouldn't by chance know how/if MusicBee supports Shell extension? That is I could right click a folder/album in Explorer (win 8) and Play or Enqueue in MusicBee?

MB certainly should support shell extension, but I can't for the life of me find the option in preferences at the moment.

I think it's in general preferences, supported file types. You may need to run as admin to make changes to those settings.
