Support for connected standby windows 8 tablets.

Well I have a problem in that when putting my tablet to sleep music from musicbee stops playing.
It seems the only way desktop applications can continue operating in the background while the tablet is in sleep mode is if it's a metro app or supports connected standby.
I was wondering if connected standby support can be added to musicbee.

I realize this is quite an old post now but rather than pollute the forums with duplicate posts I would like to ask here if any consideration has been given yet to making MB more tablet friendly?

I've used MB for quite a while now on the desktop but recently I moved my primary music system over to a Windows 8.1 tablet>DAC>Amp>speakers setup. Unfortunately I have to use Foobar for music playback because I can't see a way to make MB stop the tablet from entering sleep.
