I'm looking for an easy way to change the audio interface.
...nice to have toolbar button "Configuration Player"

    You can create custom toolbar buttons in the Preferences.
    I forget what it's called - Edit toolbar buttons or something similar.

      File \ Preferences \ Layout (1) \ Main Panel \ Toolbar Buttons \ Edit
        Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
        Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.
