Producer Role for Multiple Artist Splitter

Case: Right now, I've got two albums. Piñata, by Freddie Gibbs & Madlib, and Madvillainy by Madvillain (MF DOOM & Madlib). Madlib is the producer on both albums, and does not perform anywhere, but I cannot give him the appropriate role.

There is a custom tag available for Involved People.  It writes to IPLS in ID3v2.3, or TIPL in 2.4.  See Tags (1) to configure it.  The standard format for this tag is "role1; person1; role2; person2", so in your case would be "producer; Madlib", but you can format it however you want.  You can also use virtual tags to reformat it for display purposes.
