Floating Window Tag Editor Question

Hey guys!
I'm new to musicbee, and for the most part I've been able to customize everything I wanted, it's leagues ahead of iTunes. But...

I would like to be able to edit my music with the floating window while in another tab.

I'd like to have my inbox in one tab, and wikipedia in another. Right now, when I open the floating window editor in my inbox tab and go to the wikipedia tab, the floating window is still there, but the tag fields are grayed out. I think the only field that can be edited is the artwork.

So is there a setting that can allow you to edit while in another tab?

For anybody else that edits tags manually, how do you get your information?
