The first Elvis album is very quiet for me. The loudest possible is not loud enough, any way to make it louder?

have you tried using the volume adjustment slider in the tag editor?

Don't take this the wrong way, but you might want to upgrade your speakers, increasing the software volume will cause distortion.

Have you tried the built-in volume analyzer? It writes ReplayGain tags to your library. This will correct volume discrepancies between tracks and albums in a non-volatile way. Select the tracks you want to analyze then press CTRL+SHIFT+V or find it in the Tools menu and continue from there. I do this to my entire library so that when I go from a folk song to a metal song or whatever I don't have to go reaching for the volume knob. It's an excellent (and crucial) feature.
