This plugin hosts VST effects plugins (but not instrument plugins)

https://getmusicbee.com/download/plugins/mb_VST.zip
unzip and put mb_VST.dll in the plugins folder. The source folder for the VST plugin dll's needs to be configured in the Plugin preferences panel but the default is the normal VST location so should work without modification.
The installed VST plugins should show and be selectable (the same as any winamp or MusicBee DSP plugin) in the Equaliser and DSP window

This plugin has a dependency on the Visual Studio 2010 runtime. You can download and install the runtime from:

I have updated the VST plugin zip to better handle editing VST parameters - a VST configuration dialog now stays open when songs change and should also now work better with some plugins can generate "access violation" errors

Changing from the "default" directory to another does not work for me.  My plugins are located in C:\\Program Files (x86)\Vstplugins.

Restarted...  The correct directory is selected  in Preferences/Plugins.  When I start the Equaliser/DSP panel none of my VST plugins show up.  All of the other plugins "HDCD" etc. are listed but no VST.

Bass_vst fixes my problem...thanks.     MusicBee is unhappy about several vst plugs and crashes.  Removing them fixes the problem.

Installed the latest version (2.4.5270)
Added the patch (2.4.5272)
Added mb_VST.dll to the Plugins folder
Added bass_vst.dll to the MusicBee folder
Created a VST folder within Plugins
Set the destination folder to C:\Program Files (x86)\MusicBee\Plugins\VST in Preferences\Plugins
Added VST plugins to the VST folder
Restarted MusicBee

No plugins show at all
OS is Windows 8.1

A couple of VST plugins seem to have some graphical problems.

For example two very good sounding VST equalizers (PSP Neon and DMG Audio EQuality) seem to work great sound-wise, but are hardly usable since any adjustments in their settings are not being graphically represented.

Edit:
Could some other MB user check this out?
(it could also be due to my older graphics card)
