I know this is quite a geeky/niche request, but anyway...

I've been generating m3u playlists on MB to later load into MixMeister (a DJ software, which is really cool but lacks a powerful library).

It turns out that m3u files created by MB are encoded in UTF-8, and MixMeister only takes ANSI.

I can easily solve it with a decent text editor (I use PSPad, and it's a 2 step process: change codepage > save), but if you could leave an option for this, it would be nice. I know this is unlikely to become a highly requested feature, and I am all for UTF-8 over ANSI... There it goes, nevertheless.

UTF-8 is the correct way of doing things.

So I think MixMeister is at fault here.

i already have an preference setting for which format playlists are saved and its no problem to add a 'M3U (ascii)' option

Awesome, thanks!

And I know UTF-8 is the way to go, but some (i.e. MixMeister) are slower to catch up.
