File Naming replace space with underscore

Building on the topic, it is possible to replace the spaces by underscores automatically? I just do not like to leave the file name with spaces.

And I, coming from years of DOS and Linux, welcome the opportunity to -have- spaces and not underscores.  Therefore, if adopted, I request that it be an option.
