Author Topic: Sub-folder support for icons, skins, plugins, TM views  (Read 6507 times)

Currently MB is looking only at a parent folder for icons/skins/ plugins/TM views to load or to view available files from the menu. Why not support reading files in sub-folders as well? Then people could store files in a more organized fashion instead of having to put all of them under a single folder. Also, make it to look for the same icons sub-folder as the selected skin name to auto-load custom icons for each skin. Plugins too could be benefited from this especially when including many files.

+1 because files or folders from several plugins with the same name could become overwritten

+1 because the Plugins folder looks like a mess with several plugins installed

+1 because plugin instructions currently often confuse and are incorrect when taken literal. The often tell to "extract content from archive to Plugins folder". Yet the extraction usually produces a folder.
You would then assume you would have to copy that folder including its contents to the Plugins folder. So the instruction currently actually would have to say: "extract the archive and then copy all content from the resulting folder to the Plugins folder.
