you can achieve this in musicbee by turning ''Show playing track panel on bottom pane'' under main player.
however, it would be nice if you had the option to make it go through the left panel(about where the artist picture is now) just like in winamp classic pro 2 (aluminium).

In your screenshot it doesn't look like it would benefit from extra horizontal space, aesthetically or otherwise.
