So I'm not sure if this has happened to someone before, but I set up the renaming thing to only make file renaming choices if all the info was present, but for some reason it still managed to ruin such a huge amount of files that there's nothing I can do on my own to manually fix it, which would be impossible anyways because so many of the files no longer have connections to information which told me what the artist or song name was, and furthermore are not songs recognized by acoustic ID or anything like that (even if they were, it's so many songs that it would take days and days to finish the task, and I barely have any time at all). What's worse is that I also had a huge folder full of all the music that I pulled from my ipod because even though I already had those songs on my computer, I needed the star ratings & playlists, which I no longer have since all the files had been moved due to musicbee renaming & reorganizing files. I know this is mostly my fault, but I'm really hoping against hope that someone can help me fix this, somehow, like if there's a log somewhere that contains the file name changes or something.....otherwise I will have to try to somehow use Crashplan to restore 90% of the music & either lose the rest or find another way to figure out what is missing (unlikely). It wouldn't be such a huge problem except for the fact my library of music is so huge, I mean it's over 50,000 songs & while quite a bit of it is discographies, I still have a TON of random songs, often remixes I will never find again or rarer things that are hard to find, plus I had a lot of compilations people put together themselves somewhere, which aren't official & for example, I got this huge folder of an awesome mix of really bass-heavy songs that someone put together & all of the songs were stripped of the original location & artist names, only leaving a number in front of a title name, which for some reason is wrong pretty often. I don't know what to do from here, but I am hoping against hope that someone can help me because this is a huge deal to me. It's a pretty devastating thing, to realize that years and years of collecting music may be ruined because I might have to lose a lot. I could certainly grab all the music from my ipod again, that's no issue, but the real issue is that I already have a ridiculously HUGE amount of duplicates due to doing this in the first place, and since all the files were moved, I can't just delete the ipod folder & start again, or I'll have triplets of most of my music, which I neither have the space for nor the energy/time to deal with.
I know, it's a weird predicament, but maybe if I'm lucky, someone might be able to suggest something for me. I don't mind even paying to fix this problem, it's that important to me. Anyways, I'd be beyond appreciative if someone could help me or make a suggestion. Thanks! <3 ???
Make it so, number one.

Sorry to hear of your trouble. I would use a backup even if it's not complete (you said 90% or something) and spend time rather to rebuild the rest 10% by ripping and downloading than try to sort out the mess, which would probably end up wasting your time.
