Playcount does not sync (Android/MTP)

In the auto-sync settings I have checked 'play counts' under 'enable 2-way synchronisation'.  (I would hope to sync ratings back to, but that's on the whishlist.)
But after synchronization, no play count has altered on either side (reading both from MB itself.)

It doesn't work.  I have a thread open a couple of posts down from here on the same topic.

Steven said he may be able to support Player Pro, which outputs XML, but it's either not a high enough priority, or he's been taking a well-deserved break after the last release.  I hope it shows up soon, since my iPod broke and I have a lot of playcount-dependent playlists.

OK, thanks for the info.
(I thought I searched for it, but app. not well enough. EDIT: I did find it, but I thought it was for iPod; I guess I read to quickly or to diagonally. Any mod may delete this post if he wants.)
