Samsung Galaxy S4 I9500 sync very slow

Hi,
I use (the amazing) Musicbee to sync my Galaxy S4, which unfortunately only connects as MTP device.
Device scanning is very slow.
Running final 2.2

Any suggestions?

MTP has always been very slow for me, unfortunately.

In addition - when scanning is finished,
Then file copying is either starting, for a few files, and nothing happens. Or either fails, and nothing happens.

This is very frustrating, since I cannot sync my phone anymore...

While this ended up to be a sd card fault, I eventually replaced the card with Sandisk's lifetime warranty.

Now - scanning the device for the first time - still takes about 15 minutes.
When scanning the device for the second time, it's very fast (guess - at this point a database file was already build on the side with scanned content).

When trying to synchronize the device I get a list of deleted items, but when I approve deletion, musicbee is stuck on the first deleted item and nothing happens.

I really wish this would work just fine.
Would make my sync life a lot more easy.
