Still loving MusicBee, not going to lie!

The only problem I have though is that it takes an age to sync to my Android device. I understand that MusicBee has to scan the whole device to see what files have changed, however because of the single threaded nature of MTP this process can take a very long time; once the device is scanned the syncing process is actually more than fast enough though. Therefore, as far as I can tell, it's just the scanning that takes a while?

MusicBee is the only thing that manages music on my device, so I was wondering whether there could be a way that MusicBee writes a small index file on the root of the device, so that it doesn't have to rescan the device every time, it just reads the index file that it's written, then gathers it's actions from there?

Of course, not everyone uses MusicBee soley to manage their music so perhaps this feature would have to be switchable?

Any thoughts?

Thanks!
