In "Preferences->Layout (1)->Configure fields" you can set the format of disc-track#.
Would it be possible to do this for just track# as well? I would like to hide leading zeros.

Also, I'm not sure if "configure fields" belong in Layout? Seems more related to tags to me.

disk# & track# are stored as strings, so leading zeros are not generated automatically. You could use "Additional Tagging Tools" plugin, "Advanced Search & Replace" command, "Remove leading zeros in '<Tag 1>' - 1" preset to remove leading zeros from track# and/or disk#.

Yea that's what I'm doing now. I just thought it would be really simple to remove them automatically.

For anyone who may come across this later, with MusicBee 2.1, there is a really elegant feature that allows you to automatically format track numbers and with great degree of control.

Select your tracks and then go to the menu "Tools -> Tagging Tools -> Renumber Tracks".

Here, you can choose how many 0's to pad your tracks with (1, 01, 001, ...).
