Hi folks,

I hope that's the right board.

i just recently switched from WinAmp to MusicBee (and still am astonished every time I launch MB) and are currently ripping my CD collection in AAC. Today I ripped my first album using MB with the neroaac converter in the 'archiving' mode. I synced those tracks to my iPod (Classic, G6.5 160GB), but they are not playable. I can see them on the device, start the playback, but the iPod directly switcheches to the next track, obviously not able to to play them.

Anyone else? And if so - what to do?

best,

convert one of the files manually using Tools/ Convert Format then try playing/ editing that file to make sure it looks normal
if it does then its likely musicbee is not working with your iPod, so you would need to use another app such as MediaMonkey or iTunes

Since any other media is synced fine with my iPod through MB, I don't think that's the issue. But I will try to follow your suggestions and will tell you the outcome. Thanks a lot!

you might try googling hydrogenaudio.org as i vaguely recall some issues with Nero or what settings you need to use

Thanks for the hint - hydrogenaudio.org finally helped me (although it is still not clear exactly _why_ some tracks can't be played). I switched from neroaacenc.exe to qtaacenc.exe - which directly addresses the QuickTime codec (QT needs to be installed). Anyone else who experience that issue can get it free at http://tmkk.pv.land.to/qtaacenc/ .

Just FYI, my current config:
