Last.fm crossed recomendations

Last.fm is very good to recommending similar artists. MB uses this capability to select the similart artist from a chosen one in your collection.

BUT...

Either LastFM or MB now selects just the similar artists to a specific one, and stop there.

Wouldn't be nice to be able to select several artists from your collection, and to get a list of artists who are similar to all (or most) of them? A kind of intersection of similar artists...

I was thinking about such feature many times but I didn't dare to ask.
Now I see I'm not alone .
Such feature would be great and it would make MB unique (until others start to copy it).
It would be definitely useful when one is listening to last.fm radio.
I guess now the radio playlist is updated (new tracks added) based on the similarity with the last track in the current playlist.
If this is the case, the algorithm could be optimized so that adding of new tracks is based on the similarity with the last 5 (or at least last 3) tracks, prediction would be much more precise in this way.
Now, it often happens (after longer listening), that I have to remove tens of tracks from the playlist until some acceptable appears on the bottom, then the prediction starts working fine for some time and so on...
