Unable to RIP anymore since last version 3.6

Hi everyone,

I've perhaps got to report something strange on v3.6.9202

When i rip a CD, or even try to listen it from MusicBee, a stange noise is added , a 'tac tac tac..'

It doesn't seems to come from the CD either the player (who is new since 2025-01).

I use Win 11, Lame v3.100.20
When trying to rip from another ripper (nero CD Ripper), no problems.

Don't know what to do...

Does the CD in question perhaps have some sort of copy protection?
Have you tried using secure rip, or 'check C2 errors'?
Or lowering the ripping speed?

The CD was a new one.
I tried with another one, same result.
I turned off the C2 errors
Perhaps i can test with lower speed...

Well, here are news from this bug report.

I just bought a new and under blister CD. I tried to ripp it, it worked fine.

Perhaps olders CD from 2000 years are sometimes copy protected ?

This topic can be closed i think.
