Hello. I've had an issue with MusicBee for the past year where it will fail to sync a playlist to my phone for me about 90% of the time. It is always the same playlist, one that is currently over 6,000 songs, and it was probably failing around 5,000 songs or so. It doesn't fail every single time, just about 90% like I said, without changing anything else. If I don't sync this playlist, no other playlist fails.
I've been using MusicBee for over a decade, and it only started happening in about the last year or so. I would guess the playlist at some point grew too large, and that's when it started failing. It's continued to fail syncing through many, many updates including major updates.
If I split the playlist into two (which I don't really want to be the permanent solution), it stops failing.
If I rename the playlist, it still fails. If I duplicate it, it fails. Nothing short of shrinking it will work.
The current error message I just got trying it is "The semaphore timeout period has expired. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070079)". I don't actually remember this specific error message, but it's what it just gave me right now. I have been syncing the playlist split into two for the past month, so I had to recombine it and do a test sync just for this post.
Currently running 3.6.9202.
Can anyone confirm that there is a playlist size limit? And also confirm that it's some sort of limitation that won't be fixed? If so, I could at least move on looking for other permanent solutions.
Thanks in advance!
