Hi,
informations for Tags(2), for example "Subgenre", "Media", are not stored inside file metadata right?

I have this problem, I use two PCs to access my media files from NAS.
With PC1 I have edited Tags(2).
With PC2 I created a new library looking at same directory in the NAS. Here I have no tags(2) infos after scan is finished.
So I think that Tags(2) I edited with PC1 are stored in the library I created for PC1.

Hi There,
Check your custom tags settings in preferences - tags 1.  You need to ensure the custom tags you have entered are mapped to the correct Tag ID so it will save to the file correctly. if you have the tag mapped to "save to musicbee database only" they won't save to the files only the database.

Which is why it doesn't show on the second PC. It's only in the database of the first PC. And you should be looking at Tags (1) not Tags (2).

You can "force" the custom tag to be embedded n the file by changing the tag where the info is saved to something other than "Save to MusicBee database only". Use the dropdown and select a tag that you're fairly certain you'll never use. I use the WWW ... tags first since I know they will never be used by me.
Download the latest MusicBee v3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.
