Skins are cosmetic only and have no functionality.

As for a plugin, maybe but not likely. You'd have to see what's available in the API, which I know nothing about.
    Download the latest MusicBee v3.6 patch from here.
    Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

    If you ever come back to this:
    The last version where this was working is: 3.5.8249 P
    The first version where this was not working anymore is: 3.5.8296 P
