Hello,
It's great how Musicbee downloads album covers automatically that are missing. Is there anyway to also automatically download the back cover art and other album art. Not just the front? Thanks!

That would require a content provider that has a large and well-constructed database of such images. (back covers, booklet pages, inserts, etc. etc.)
All indexed properly and consistently. Probably also needing to be differentiated between release countries, languages, and release versions. ('deluxe', extended, etc.)
And that provider would also need to have a (free to use) API available so that software such as MusicBee can use it.

Are you aware of any provider that fits that bill?

(yeah, sorry, that's a rhetorical question that I think I already know the answer to)

Album Art Downloader has the ability to auto-download full sized images once invoked and the ability to specify non-front covers, but it does not auto-embed the images and doesn't function "behind the curtain" the way MusicBee does.  Old I know, but the only one I know of where non-front-covers can be specified.  Probably more trouble than it's worth in a multiple-file environment.

Album Art Downloader is great for retrieving cover art.
But it's not a content provider, so all its settings and results will rely on how it interacts with the actual providers and what those are offering.

Can you share some settings/providers that will give satisfactory results for retrieving booklet and/or inlay images besides cover art?
And how are they stored/labeled?
front, page1, page2, back, etc? Is there some system?
How can this be put to use in MusicBee?

The only provider I’ve found to have a good variety of the album art you are looking for is Picard via Cover Art archive. You can select the different artwork you want it to retrieve. While no where near perfect it’s better than nothing.

Thanks for the replies! It' very interesting, but it's not maybe feasible without the correct database out there as mentioned. I have been manually using https://www.discogs.com, but it is too tedious to do this manually.
