Hello.

I was very disappointed, when musicbee stopped encoding tags in video files and started saving them to database only. Recently I've decided to install some older version (something around 2.something, judging from the release years I was using it back then), yet it does not encoding video tags and saves them to the library only, like musicbee 3.X. So what am I missing? Is there some setting I don't rember about? Or does anyone remember in which version musicbee stopped supporting video tags? FInally, does anyone know about some alternative program I could use? Thanks in advance!

There's probably better ways or programs but if your videos are in an MP4 container (such as ending in .mp4 or .m4v) you can add tags and cover art using Mp3tag as it supports editing MP4 tags due to it being able to edit tags for .m4a music files (which are audio files in an MP4 container)

i haven't tested it, but MB must save tags to MP4 files. saving tags to all other video formats never was supported.
