I could not find any entry under Preferences > Hotkeys to assign a keyboard shortcut to 'Mark as Listened' action.
Is there any way to assigning a shortcut?

Alternatively, a button on the UI (like in an email client) that can 'Mark as Listened' (or 'Mark All as Listened' on multi-select)  would be great.

At present one has to right click on each episode and click on 'Mark as Listened' which is a tad bit inconvenient especially if subscribing to a lot of podcast channels/feeds.

Welcome to the forum Carbon9

That would need to be a Wishlist request.
(or await somebody like Mayibongwe creating/extending a plugin that allows for creating shortcuts for any–currently unavailable–function)

edit
It can also already be accomplished using the Additional Tagging & Reporting Tools plugin. But that will require some effort to learn how that works.

I can't see any reference to this in the current MusicBee API.
Highly doubtful that plugins would currently have control over this function.

I agree with hiccup that the wishlist request is the best way to go for now.
I would only ask Steven to add it to the API if it garnered good support in the future whilst having no hope of making it to MusicBee natively.
