I just noticed that MusicBee no longer organizes my new files that are added, or at least does not organize certain files. It looks like a lot of the new files I have added have been within the past few months or year, but there are also some from a few years ago that also won't reorganize.

When I add a new song, I send it to the inbox and tag it and then move it to Music. Sometimes if I don't know the album I will just tag it as "TBD" and then move it from inbox to music and tag it later when I have time.

I am using the current version of MusicBee. I wasn't before and thought the update would help. Auto-organize is always checked. Continuously monitor also has always been selected. When I click the "reorganize" button, MusicBee says the action has been completed. When I check the album folder of "TBD" in Windows Explorer, all the songs are still there in TBD and have not been moved to the new album name folder that was tagged. Things I have tried:

-removing the rules and folder paths and re-adding them
-trying a new rule and folder path
-checking the box that says do not organize files with missing tags (I always had it unchecked before)
-unchecking and rechecking the auto-organize box
-tried switching from continuously monitor, to scan at startup
-adding a file folder path using "Choose folders" for continuously monitor and scan at startup (note: I never had a folder path added before, just had the option selected)
-restarting MusicBee
-rescanning ALL my library files
-moving the renamed album files back to Inbox and then moving back into the Music Library
-shutting down my computer and restarting musicbee

Also note in the screenshot all the song files say "missing tags track #" but the option to ignore missing tags is unchecked. there are also files that show a "new file name" with an empty status and those files also do not reorganize, so the status doesn't seem to be the issue.

For Example in the screenshot below: all these Julia Wolf songs were tagged with an album TBD and then moved to Music folder. Then I got all the correct album names added. Normally MusicBee will automatically move songs from TBD to the new tagged album name in Windows Explorer folders (reorganize). So the issue is it is no longer doing this, and has selectively not done this in the past. I am out of ideas of what else to try or what the issue is. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Your screenshot embedded for everyone's ease of reference:

This sounds interesting. I'll revisit this later in the week to have a look at the behaviour on my side.

One thing I see is that part of the folder names is a network path, "\\VBOXSVR."

I'm not sure I understand what's going on there. Your "continuously monitor" folder is Z:. Is that the same as the network path?

Yes \\VBOXSVR. is the Network path and it is on the Z drive. I only added the continuously monitor the Z drive folder option after I noticed it wasn't organizing files anymore, but it didn't fix the issue.

Are there other files which are still reoganising when you dump them in the TBD folder?

And before trying an update, was the same MusicBee version which always worked the one that you recently noticed wasn't working anymore?
(which would indicate a change on Windows or the network side)

Have you always reorganized tracks to the network drive?
If you change the destination folder to a local path (somewhere on C for example), does the auto-organize work as expected?

Yes \\VBOXSVR. is the Network path and it is on the Z drive.

This doesn't sound quite right to me. \\VBOXSVR may be configured as drive Z:, but a network path is part of the network, it can't be part of a particular drive. If Z:\ is equivalent to \\VBOXSVR then Z:\Music is equivalent to \\VBOXSVR\Music.

I would change it to consistently use the drive letters rather than the network path in the settings.

No I just tested it and new files won't reorganize.

Yes the previous version of MusicBee was when I noticed it wasn't working anymore. So I updated to the newest and it still is not working.

Yes I have always reorganized the tracks to the network drive. I just tested and it does not work on the C drive either :/

Yeah I am not sure. I never had it as the Z drive until I tried fixing it. It always used to list \\VBOXSVR\Music in the "On drive" and "to folder" fields before that when it was working in the past. I just tried changing it to Z:\ in On Drive and Z:\Music\ for To Folder and hit Reorganise but it still did not work, even after a restart.

OK so I just tried changing the "on Drive" and "to Folder" paths back to what they were originally "\\VBOXSVR\Music\Music\" and when I hit Reorganise, it actually went through all the songs and marked them as Done and then showed it was complete. I checked the files and they have been moved out of the TBD folder into the correct album names now...

So, no idea what happened or why it stopped working. My only guess is maybe it stopped in an earlier version of MusicBee and I just didn't notice until these last 2 updates that it wasn't working anymore. Keep in mind when I noticed it wasn't working, the paths were both still "\\VBOXSVR\Music\Music\" and when I started trouble shooting changing the drive letters to Z and everything, it still wasn't working. Maybe just re-adding the "\\VBOXSVR\Music\Music\" paths fixed something the new versions were caching on that didn't work? Not sure. But it seems to work now so hopefully it will continue.
