I have a couple of locations of music files on a couple of different drives. I assumed that, if I looked in the Library option of Preferences, the location of the library MusicBee is using would be there. If it is, it is well hidden. I could not find it.

Hello UncleCrust, and welcome to the forum.

You can specify the folders containing your music collection (= the audio files themselves) with:
  • Preferences (Ctrl+O)
  • tab 'Library'
  • section 'monitored folders'
Use button 'Choose folders...' to modify the list

In MusicBee, the term 'Library' means 'database': it's an index referring to the different audio files of your collection.
You only have to care about its location if you want to migrate it to another computer, or want to manage several distinct collections.

For more details about the Library Preferences, see this Wiki page.

If you click File->Library->Open Library, MusicBee will show the folder path of its library (the file "MusicBeeLibrary.mbl") location.  However, it sounds like you're actually trying to find from what locations on your drives(s) you have added files to your library.  You have to tell MusicBee from where you want files added to MusicBeeLibrary.mbl, either by adding them manually (File->Add Files to Library) or via an automated procedure depending on what you have entered in Prefs->Library->Monitored Folders.

Under the Music tab in the main panel that lists all the files in the library, right-clicking the panel header, choosing "Set Displayed Fields", and then adding "Path" from the left column to Selected Fields on the right will show the full file path of the actual music file.

DOH! Yes. I was wanting to know where the music files themselves were. Totally misunderstood how MusicBee is interpreting "Library". I've added 'Path' to the Music list, thanks. ... Well, how would I tell MusicBee to get music from some other folder instead?
