Playback not resuming on program start up

Hi Steven,
I'm currently using MB version 3.6.8905 P. i have resume playback checked in settings but this isn't happening. It  only goes back to the position of the last track being played  not sure if there are any other settings that may stop this from invoking at start up.

alas after reinstalling the latest patch, the issue seems to have resolved itself. my apologies for time wasted.
