theatre mode

am i being stupid or has theatre mode vanished  

I have 3.6 8869 with an up to date theatre mode dll from the same download on win11 but i can't see it in the menus?

menu I have is under View:
...
Compact Menu
-----------
Start Visualiser
Visualiser >
-----------
Now Playing Menu
...

etc. and I'm sure it used to be in there?

Anyway, i have solved it - in the settings it had become disabled - never knew that setting was there - still my confirmed stupidity may help someone else

I promise you, you're not going crazy.
I've noticed this myself maybe two or three random times in the past.
The TM plugin would be enabled but somehow not visible in the View menu.
(which is a little different to your case since you mentioned it was indeed disabled somehow).
Anyway, on each occasion, a single or double restart would usually pop it back in place, but the cause has remained a mystery.
