I renamed my android device, now musicbee wont sync, find playlists files (m3u)

as simple as the title is, I changed my device from its factroy code (something like sm904 or something) to my own customized name. Now when I connect my phone it shows on music bee still as sm904 , and the paths show as sm904\internal storage\ however in windows its now customname\internal storage\

it cant find playlists nor it cant scan my phone and is weird.  Phone in question is a samsung s22 ultra.  I cannot rename the device from music bee.  and even if I change the folder in settings of the device that shows in musicbee as sm904 for the folder path from sm904\internal storage\ to the one with the customname it still will not work.

Adding that I removed devices from musicbee, renamed my device in android to change path name.  still the device shows with the default name s908... when I plug it in it says content and playlists are on s908\music\ and so on, and of course wont work, if I manually rename to customizedname\music\ and so on it works for a sync but fails after i unplug and replug in since it goes back to the default name even though in windows explorer and elsewhere it shows as s908, i tried to find where it was pulling the s908 name and to no avail since on the roaming folder i deleted everything that was relate to USB but nothing else.. Is there a fix short of uninstalling Musicbee entirely?  I even tried uninstalling the drivers for my android phone and still will not pick it up with the new name which messes up syncs.

I played around and was able to sync if I changed my android phone name back to the default name but this is not a good solution for me .... WHere is musicbee storing the old name? i tried deletting all the old files of musicbee and nothing, it still opens as sm-s908u1 , and of course it does not work as the paths for the folder are under a different name.....
