When choosing the open with > choose another app option in Windows for .mp3 .m4a and probably all others an incorrect second entry appears for MusicBee, see attached.

Your best bet is to report this issue on a windows forum and provide some background as to what you did so someone can help you remedy it

Well I didn’t do anything but install your program. So I thought you might want to know your Windows installer needs some work or cleaning up.

I can't recall how many years a Store version of MB has been available, but this is the first report of something as odd as your issue as been reported. Therefore, with all the other Store version users of MB -not- reporting something like this, it stands to reason that the issue is more than likely on the Windows side.

I think it has to do with 32bit vs 64bit and I did report it last year but then it didn’t have the path listed only the 32bit icon and when you clicked it it couldn’t find anything. I guess no one cared to mention bother to take the time to let you know and probably most install the desktop version. Oh well feel free to close the report if you don’t feel it’s not your problem. I donated to MusicBee and thought maybe I was helping find bugs by letting you know. Maybe I’ll just uninstall it. Does the uninstaller remove registry entries or will I have to go in and clean them out?

First of al, I am simply a user like yourself. I am not the (sole) developer of MB. I am trying to help by getting additional information from you.

I don't understand why you mean by "I think it has to do with 32bit vs 64bit". MB -only- comes as a 32bit version. So I don't understand where the 64bit comment comes into play. Anyone who is using the Store version on a 64bit machine is using the 32bit version of MB.

I have been MusicBee for a very long time and use it on a daily basis and never had that problem,. I am using it on the latest version of Windows 10! Ebojager, you should check your installation of Windows 10 which has a mind of its own.
