I'm on 3.4.7547
This is a very small issue.
I've created a custom tag that reflects the actual folders where my albums are physically stored. The folders are genres I've chosen long before knowing about MB, so I'm used to those more than iTunes or whatever sorting service.

I usually have the Music Explorer column set to show Album Artist.
If I select Group by -> Custom Tags -> [my genre folders], the Album Artists are grouped by this tag.
But as soon as I move to another node like Playing Now, or Music, or any other and then go back to Music Explorer, the grouping is lost.
Nevertheless the Custom Tag in "Group By" still appears as enabled (it's ticked).
If I click it, it groups artists again and remains ticked.

And while I'm here, is there any way to jump from group to group directly? I've tried several combinations of TAB/PGUP/PGDWN/CTRL/SHIFT with no effect.

Hi again,

with v3.4.7586 the grouping is not forgotten anymore, but I'm kicked to the beginning of the list each time I switch between tabs.

i.e. If I start a song from Music Explorer\Album Artist tab, then switch to Now Playing, then back to Music Explorer, the Album Artist Column is not showing the artist and its alphabetic neighbors, but it's scrolled up to the first alphabetical group, in my case Blues.

Doing the same with no grouping always brings me back to the Album Artist I'm listening to.
