Hi, is there any other way apart from registering on Twitter that I (and possibly others) can receive notification of new versions of MusicBee? I don't have a Twitter account.

Also, on my profile, I have "Receive forum newsletters..." checked, but I have never received notification by email from MusicBee about updates or anything else, so what's going on? I use Mozilla Firefox, if that's helpful.

You could subscribe to the RSS feed.

Or you can check the forum periodically. Look for the first forum topic.

If I'm not mistaken, the "receive forum newsletters" option, I'm not certain newsletters really exist. That's something Steven will have to answer.
Download the latest MusicBee v3.5 or 3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.

I've been registered for over seven years and I've never received a newsletter.  ;)
I think it's probably built into the forum software, but it's not something that gets used.
Bee excellent to each other...

I clicked on "Subscribe to RSS Feed" and all I get is a document tree.

Click on the "Latest Version" link above and then click "Notify"
It will send an email when the topic is updated, although for some people it can appear in the Junk folder
