I'm using MusicBee 3.3.7491 P (I updated just last week), I want to save the artwork jpeg in the same folder as the album, but when I click 'copy picture to folder.jpg' I get the following message -

<WARNING ICON> Folder.jpg has not been enabled in the artwork retrieval settings so will not be displayed <OK>

I've looked in Tags (2) and the following is checked -

auto-retrieve missing artwork for the playing track

I'm using Windows 10. Can someone tell me where the artwork retrieval settings are?

you need to enable folder.jpg in the retrieval settings to the right of the storage settings

Thanks Steven, that's fixed it.  :)

Could you tell me if there's a way to stop it defaulting to saving the artwork as an embedded picture? It's currently taking me three clicks per album after selecting 'search internet for picture'.

I had assumed that would be it, but I've only got 'copy picture to folder.jpg' checked, ('embed picture in music file' is NOT checked)...

...and yet when I find an album in the Music Explorer tab without a picture, select it so it's displayed in the main window, right-click on the picture square and select 'Search Internet for Picture' the dialog box only has 'embed picture in the music file' checked.

Closing MusicBee and restarting made no difference.
