While MB's rescanning files, I tried to resize the width of left navigator a bit and got this error:

Select all files in the main panel and try to resize a sidebar, then it always happens to me.

thats fixed now:
https://getmusicbee.com/patches/MusicBee33_Patched.zip

3.3 has been on version 6870 for the past couple of releases. Is this intentional?
the number auto-increments and is 6877 at present. I am guessing somehow you are not overwriting the files

Actually, Steven changed the exe back to MusicBee.exe a few patches ago.
Download the latest MusicBee v3.6 patch from here.
Unzip into your MusicBee directory and overwrite existing files.
