Importing from iTunes didn't entirely work

With the news that Apple is effectively ending the iPod, I feel it’s finally time to extricate my music collection from clunky iTunes for something better. I’m liking what I’ve found in MusicBee and imported my music collection.

It seems, however, that the transfer didn’t go perfectly. Here are three general issues I’ve identified:

1. Not all the tracks transferred. MusicBee lists 14,730 tracks, and iTunes lists 14,750.  I’ve manually identified at least a handful of tracks that didn’t show up in MusicBee. Should I retry the import? Or would the same thing happen again?
2. Not all artwork transferred to the library. But if I play a song in MusicBee with no library artwork, the artwork still appears in the Now Playing pane.
3. Compilations appeared in the MusicBee library as all separate tracks. I can rectify this by manually grouping each compilation with the “iTunes compilation” check box in track settings, but do I have to do that manually for each comp?
