Issues installing Musicbee

I am having trouble installing Musicbee
I made a mistake with the musicbee i had installed at the time and decided to do a reinstall so I removed it from my computer, installed the latest version (3.0.6335), then put on a skin and thought the new version of musicbee had changed the view of the skin i used before so i uninstalled that, completely removing any trace of musicbee from my computer. but now i realize i probably just turned on the wrong skin like a big dummy. Before i realized that i went back and attempted to install Musicbee 2.5 which was what update i was at at the beginning of this whole mess thinking that it would display the old skin i had properly and I ran into an error message each time i tried to install it.

After I saw that i tried creating a folder called "Musicbee" in my music folder under my user profile in windows file manager and then placing the musicbee 2.5 installer into it and running and that error popped up again. After that i created a folder of the same name in my program files and did that again and got the same error. I'm out of ideas at this point and would really appreciate some help haha. Thanks!

You are trying to run an update file (not a full installer) on a portable installation of MusicBee.
The update installer file needs to be put in your MusicBee folder where "MusicBee.exe" is for it to work.
